The benefits of illustrations

In today’s age, illustrations and drawings not only have a place in books and magazines, but are also conquering the online world and classic graphic design. This year, for example, websites with artistic elements are very trendy and stand out from their classic neighbors through individualism and creativity. The trend in classic graphic design is also moving away from sterile design and towards hand-drawn lines.

The advantages of this trend are obvious: drawings can not only be used to create wonderful designs, but also websites that stand out from the crowd. A key visual, also known as a key motif, stays in the visitor’s memory better than a classic website without any special accents. Image motifs not only serve to beautify, but also illustrate complex issues that are difficult to convey in pure text. This allows the viewer to better understand the connection between text and image.

Another advantage is individuality. Drawings and motifs can be created, adapted and modified for various projects and still remain unique. In contrast to photos, which depict an exact situation, illustrations can be interpreted in more diverse ways and offer greater artistic openness. This is also evident in book covers. While many covers are created through image editing and image collage, individually drawn covers stand out from the crowd.

Illustration style

Over time, I have developed my own illustration style, which is characterized by realistic representations. In combination with rich colors, wonderful images are created. From ink drawings in the style of old masters, to acrylic painting with unique canvas pictures, to digital illustrations that are almost photo-accurate, a lot is possible and can be achieved. I would be happy to advise you on which style suits your project and how we can best implement your idea.
