Hello and welcome to my website! I am Andrea, a creative illustrator and designer from Dessau-Rosslau in Saxony-Anhalt in Germany.
I have been a self-employed designer and passionate illustrator since 2016, after working in various advertising agencies for years. First as a trained media designer, later as a certified online marketing manager. But my passion for illustration has accompanied me my entire life and runs like a common thread through my private and professional career. In the past, both in my private life and professional life, I have always created illustrations for various projects. This means that I could and can provide my customers with a special and extensive mix of experience and skills.

Since the end of November 2021, I have been pleased to receive the Skoutz Award in the area of book cover design!

Individual illustration –
Unique effect
From the first idea, the first sketch, through the finalization of the illustrations, to the subsequent book typesetting, I am your contact person. Be it the creation of individual illustrations, the implementation of children’s book illustrations, the development of a unique cover or the creation of an entire book.
Depending on the project, I offer different styles: both a simple drawing style for children’s puzzles, watercolor and ink for an analogue touch, or a semi-realistic style for unusual covers and books. In my work I pay attention to bright colors, effective compositions and high-contrast results.
Character design with character
I always find the development of characters a particular joy. Be it for children’s books, novels or other exciting projects. When designing my character, I always make sure that you think about what kind of “character” the character has 😉. What kind of life does he have, what is the backstory. Only then can you really develop a character and portray it believably.
I usually design the characters in different poses and moods in order to have a solid basis for the actual project, be it a children’s book, the development of a TV series or the model for a plush toy.
Illustrator & Designer
In addition to my projects in the area of illustration, there are also projects in the design area. As a trained media designer, I have years of experience in logo design, the creation of entire corporate designs and the development of websites. In connection with illustrations, extraordinary projects can be created that arouse the viewer’s interest and are not commonplace.
