Why me?

You may be wondering why you should contact me?
Well, first of all, I’m a very sociable person who knows what she can do but doesn’t take herself too seriously. I value a relaxed and friendly approach, but always show my counterpart the necessary respect. A relaxed and successful collaboration is just as important to me as completing the corresponding project in the best possible way and on time.

As an illustrator, I have successfully completed many projects. From small individual illustrations to entire children’s books. You can find some of these projects in my references.

What else do I do?

In addition to my own business, I work as an illustrator, children’s book illustrator and designer for Alxedo (alxedo.de) and with the copywriter Annika Hofmann (hallowach.com).

What happens if you book me?

We will discuss your wishes and goals and discuss together what is necessary to realize them. Because I am not only an illustrator, but also:

  • your advisor: What do you really need? What is worth it/what is not worth it? What makes sense for your project? I would be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
  • an artist: Do you have an idea or are you looking for something unusual? I like to think about it, implement the idea for you or create something completely new.
  • a graphic designer: No matter whether it’s cover design, book typesetting, marketing material or the website for the book: I feel at home in both areas. One contact person for everything.
  • Online Marketing Manager: Thanks to my previous work in the field of online marketing, I have a lot of experience, can advise you and put you in touch with a wide range of agencies and salespeople.

How did I start?

Since I grew up in a very creative environment and couldn’t put a pen down since I was a child, it was clear to me that I wanted to pursue a creative career. Therefore, I decided to train as a media designer for digital and print media with the “Conception & Visualization” department in an online agency. Personally and professionally, I also worked on a variety of illustration and design projects and thus began my professional creative career.

After my training, I worked for an advertising agency for several years, first as a media designer and later, after further training, as an online marketing manager. I managed the company’s online department and also trained trainees. I was able to expand and optimize my skills and experience in the areas of illustration, graphic design, print design, image editing, web design and development, app development, search engine optimization and online marketing.

How and why did I become self-employed?

After a few years, a new challenge was needed; the classic 8-to-5 job model simply didn’t fit with my passion for the job and, in my opinion, doesn’t exactly promote creativity. I always wanted to be self-employed, have my own clients, decide for myself who I work for, when and where I work and which projects I manage. My dream has always been to have my own business, to combine my hobby and my profession and to fully develop my abilities.

I have fulfilled this dream. Since then, I have been there for my customers and projects with even more heart and soul. I decide for myself how much I work, where I work from (yes, it can be on the beach or in a café) and which projects I feel like doing. For me that is creative freedom. And that’s exactly what produces the best results.
